Too late for me as I already bought the Chinese Thompson squad, which I bought only because that gave me another level two Thompson squad. However, I’m contemplating giving them good ol American names and try and forget entirely that they are supposed to be Chinese. 
Until “preferred map area” arrives, the entire outfit system makes 0.00% sense.

I dont even use Italians in my German squads, so no Chinese in USA either.
That Thompson tempted me much, but also decided not to buy them cause the squad matches only Burma atm. And what else in the future? Chinese fraction against Japan? Kuomintang vs Mao civil war? - what will not happened for a known political reason. Also why they made it only 5 members?! Anyway the fact that they put a new squad on sale is telling. I’ll consider to buy it only if they introduce prefered maps system and make a bundle with Flying Tigers and Merrill’s Marauders

Ok so you bought the squad fair enough, to dress them and use them and ignore Chinese speaking is one step too far for me.
It’s like my Moroccans on Pacific, I can’t wait for the devs to add normal uniforms to non Tunisia like they did for Bulge… but it’s the same as you, I ignore or don’t want to notice their French voices (I kinda make excuses, yea there were French soldiers in Pacific), but turning a blind eye once or twice is fine, but now it’s another 2 new Chinese squads (Event and Premium).
I can’t turn a blind eye or accept them in line up unless PMaps is given to us, so at very least I can increase probability of them getting Pacific. But in fact it’s not Pacific, it’s Burma only if being HA.

Just larp that its an all Chinese, American unit. Doesnt seem too far fetched that way.
well tbh the only reason they are US is because of Burma but did they use the gun in Burma? idk and again the whole immersion problem is what it is tbh personally.
I mean i feel like everyone seen it coming ever since VG 2 are like br2 and VG 1-5 are br3 and so on
To be honest, I haven’t been playing my level two Allies enough to notice their voices, and I usually play my three assaulter tech tree squads the most, so the Chinese squad, my other premium Thompson squad along with my UD42 squads don’t get used much anyway. I am also thinking about not paying for premium in a few days when my account runs out, especially since I am not playing as much as I used to, and since I already have all the squads and weapons I want. So, until DF decided to release their old legacy squads, I am finding it hard to continue paying for premium content. I have already spent so much I should own stock in the company. 
I used to play 25-30 games a day, now, I ONLY play to complete the daily objectives, the 20,000 every two day objectives and event objectives, and it’s getting hard for me to be inspired enough to play to obtain nine daily objectives. So the three non premium objectives, might be enough for a while, at least until Dark Force does something that will inspire me.
I think you and Adamnpea are on the right track for not buying the squad though. As long as people just keep giving DF money and DF is not giving the people what they want, then DF is going to continue to ignore what the people want, and the best way to get their attention is affecting their pocket book by not buying squads, weapons and premium accounts. Enough people do that, DF’s will sing a different tune.
