Germans are practically fighting Soviets with STG at this point So I don’t see a problem if this comes to the party as well.
Wimmersperg Spz
and this will be sent to the tier 5 lunacy

Before I play Enlisted, I really didn’t know there are so many prototypes and…curious weapons in WWII.
I thank you Enlisted.
Would be useless because stg 44 is superior
look up german wonder weapons, personally im waiting for poison gass shell and Canadians shot gun squad with tringle bayonets and flshet shells
If you went to the link you’ll see this thing has different firing modes as well
swappable barrels, and were designed for selective fire. Single-shot fire could be applied by pulling the trigger half way, while pulling the trigger further to the rear produced burst fire (except Spz-l).[1] This function predates the similar operation used on the present day Steyr AUG series of rifles.
Some weird burst STG sniper? Sounds fun. I’d play it!
I would probably honestly remove the scope but everyone has their preferences
Sounds fun either way. I like burst fire weapons
make it a paratrooper weapon, parasnipers
me too tbh i didnt know a lot of proto weapon
Im pretty sure the design only existed on paper, the ones that exist are modern reconstructions for museums.
So far, every gun in the game has had at least 1 partially built prototype before WW2 ended (Cönders MG).
I want the u.s. to get the hyde carbine 15/bendix hyde carbine (prototype 1) select fire, .30 cal, almost 16" barrel. Probably the closest thing we could ever get to an assault rifle. The hyde carbine 1944 would also be an interesting rifle, not as close to an assault rifle, but still cool. That one has a detachable quick change barrel like the mg42.
Obviously the 10 round mag would have to be atleast doubled though.
It can use a 20 round magazine:
