Funny thing this might be one of the first ARs that graced the earth also it has unique magazine also Terni had made a AR since it was in the coemption ,too(Image below is Tipo terni mod.21 it was the favorite of first stage of completion)
This one also had a cage mag but they made a variant of it which was bottom mag fed (Tipo terni mod21/28)
After the first stage the Brescia’s rifle as it seems was eliminated and second stage included Rome’s prototype and 3 SMGs while there was no clear winner Terni rifle was favored again , I couldnt find anything about Rome’s prototype but it was mentioned in few documents that I read . Ultimately, none of the entrants into this trial were able to live up to expectations, owing to concerns about their reliability and accuracy. Although the submission from Terni aroused
some continued interest and remained in development until 1928, the Rome and Brescia
designs were defunded and cancelled, and the adoption of the 7.65x32mm cartridge never
went ahead.this programm would pretty much be dead by 1928

Huh? No it would go to Axis since its Italian squad and most importantly the squad fought in Russia against soviets and it even fought French troops during invasion of France pretty sure it would be Axis squad. If you are interested in allies squad I made 3 suggestion like this for allies one US and 2 UK squad here the links

The axis have enough squads already they dont need any further ones im against this, but still a nice suggestion good luck, its rare but sometimes they actually take a look into this section but i wouldnt bet a buck on it since it would be a fictional placement.

Italy was fighting against germany, placing it into the axis tree would be quite a paradox, there already plenty of italian units in the axis tree but they are spose to be in the allies.
huh brother are we talking about WW2 or WW1 cause im pretty sure Italy was allies with Germany during ww2 maybe you should check Pact of steel

Its about WW1 but WW2 is more difficult, everyone thinks ww2 had only the italian resitance but thats false they had an actual army fighting against the current regime thats why i said its difficult to explain.
So doesn’t matter if they had or not , they still helped Axis was one of the main player signing Tripartite Pact that makes them axis simple as that doesn’t matter if they had opposition in home or not Germany also had opposition at home they planned to overthrow Nazi regime had Sudetenland demand went south (Oster conspiracy) so does that make Germany not Axis?

Second there is no current regime
Mussolini get the control over the country from the king, and the king followed him, the whole cooperation between the two is something i can’t describe without breaking all the forum rule, and represent the worst part of history of my country
Therefore i ask you to don’t talk about it without the minimum knowledge on it because it wasn’t good guys Vs bad guys as you seem believe

Im still against it the axis have way too many squads already, why not a italian restiance group for the allies ? If you want to add ww1 stuff make it global for everyone not just 1 squad i would dig 1904 russo-japanese war squads.
Anything related to Italy would be awesome.
Italy only gets recycled events in ths year until this point (unless I missed sth.) while UK at least gets couple of new event stuff like a plane.

which thing is ww1 I dont understand man the gun is from 1920 and the squad was founded in 1926 as far as I know that mean that all of these were later than WW1 also squad actively participated in war to help axix that only makes sense to add it as an Axis squad im sure put a brief history above how they helped Axis in Stalingrad also about a resistance group or a division for Kingdom of the South

We already have other ww1 guns thats not the issue, the question is was it used in ww2 ?
For example the Federov Avtomat was mainly used in the winter war till 1941 but its for some reason BR5
Doesn’t matter you can tell that a lot of stuff weren’t used in ww2 that are in game example being AS-44 and Im sure it wasnt even given to paratroopers heck it military trial were conducted after WW2 or you can tell me how a T34-100 can be in the game when it wasnt even fielded and was one time prototype
