An “all out war” game mode without fixed objectives

Are there any plans to include an “all out war” game mode. eg: a mode in which there are no fixed objectives (or only one objective that moves around the map) but the mission goal is reducing the enemies tickets to zero just by killing enemy fighters?
I feel conquest and invasion are ok but lead to large areas of maps being completely ignored and in some cases the opposition forces simply running to empty objectives as the enemy are no longer present because they ran to the objective you just came from.
An all ticket battle would increase battle size, encourage reconnaissance forces to scout, would put good use to some of the great map features that are never utilised due to their remote proximity from the fixed objectives.
I know a lot of people would like to see this kind of game mode and the change in gameplay it would bring about.

sounds like a gamemode that will exclusively encourage toxic gameplay. Not a huge fan of the idea

If I wanted to play a mode like this I would play COD or BF … not a fan of this idea

Or it would just encourage the most scummy and toxic tactics in the game. When the point is to kill as many enemies as possible then all the “run and gun” fans with SMGs and LMGs come out, and of course vehicle and artillery spam would be even worse in that mode - anything to get as many kills as possible.

Enlisted is an objective based game. So this is a big no from me for basically standard (and even more boring than conquest) deathmatch mode.

There was a mode in cod 2 called headquarters. Where a team would plant a radio and had to defend it, and the other team had to capture it and disable it.

Was a fun mode overall.

Capture the flag, Search and destroy and pure team dead match are a fun casual way to play the game.

One of the problems a game like heroes and generals for example had, was all the game modes were just pure capture points… All fun for a while…

Do you not find conquest stale? The same three objectives, always in the same place, running the same circles, endless, stale, repetition?
Even if conquest had random objective spawning it would be better.

Not a great response seeing as neither COD nor BF have a mode that matches my description. Your answer feels lazy. This game is rapidly becoming BF with AI due to endless repetition of objective game modes. I’m wanting something that encourages imaginative game play and real tactics. (I’m guessing that is what is being labelled as “toxic”???)
I just feel that even if the objectives moved around a bit it would vastly improve the game and make it less samey

Yeah, I find it stale and boring. That’s why I would choose Invasion and Assault every time over that mode.
Few map variants with different cap zone placement could be some kind of improvement (that applies to all the modes, Invasion too).

But I just really don’t like the idea of mode where the only objective is running around and shooting to everything that moves. Shooting for the sake of shooting, without any thought put to that. You are talking about “real tactics”, but we all know that it would just end up with most players taking out their SMG it LMG and spraying with them to kill as many enemies as possible.

For me it just doesn’t for into WW2 atmosphere nad Enlisted should stay as an objective based game. But of course devs should work on the ways to make those objectives as interesting as possible (and learn how to fully utilize the potential of their maps).
