I can hear teammates complaining about the need for ammo boxes almost every game
I’d love to build it for them because I’d need it myself. But I noticed a very annoying problem. These ammo boxes are a bit too fragile. They can be destroyed by explosives from both the enemy and the enemy.
I can understand being destroyed by the enemy, but come on, why do teammates’ explosives destroy their teammates’ ammunition boxes?
Especially the artillery support and bomber group support called by teammates, they are simply terrible. If it is a plain terrain, these things will destroy all the ammunition boxes built.
Sometimes I built an ammo box and built a sandbag wall directly in front of it to protect it from enemy explosives, and then my teammates threw artillery or grenades over it, and everything was messed up.
Then everyone goes back to the stage of constantly harassing teammates with “need ammo boxes”
Ammo boxes shouldn’t be so fragile, because this game is very dependent on ammo, especially new players who haven’t unlocked large ammo bags, which means they rely heavily on ammo boxes to sustain themselves.
I recommend increasing the durability of the ammo box and making it incapable of being destroyed by teammates’ explosives
They even get destroyed by Arty/Bombs/Rockets/HE shells that are not even touching or damaging them in any way it’s so dumb. Ammo boxes need to have way more hp, while AT/AA guns need to get nerfed in hp since against AP they can tank sometimes even 10 shells from 75mm for no damn reason, they would break in half from the penetration.
This is where I think it would tie in nicely with my suggestion from earlier.
Ammo piles out in the open are too easy to destroy as you said, but if AI functioned as ammo runners, you could place ammo in more fortified positions (such as in a trench) and your AI would fetch ammo for you!
