Maybe if this game ever gets enough players, custom lobbies will get populated enough to where they’ll be a viable part of the game. That way you can just pick a lobby that only has maps you want to play in rotation instead of playing the lottery with the “start” button.
as long as there is no way to play what ever game mode or map you want, leaving is absolutely justified.
-Main problem ofteen i read is xp. People leave because they expect few xp being loser side
-Tasks/events are other problem make people leave game. Example kill x units with plane. 2 spots are full. New excuse to drop game.
-Sincerally most of us love farm feast give us squad game with 20x20 30x30 or more. Sure we will see one side full of player and other full of bots, but that is what most like.
Resume: Unlike many think most deserters just hate losing, sometimes is losing game, losing grind xp, losing “time”, losing “events”. Is hard to control playerbase since punishment ofteen make it shrink. I understand is frustating playing side players enter and leave.
For me only way to punish excessive deserter behaviour would be if we had “elo”, rank system depending ranking deserting match would be much worse than losing it. Problem with it punishment from disconnection would be a bit unfair. But we cant resolve all problems ^^. Sure we expect much better rank prizes than actually we gain from patents.
