The introduction of jets (which a few people asked for) are too fast for the current AA guns, too fast for propeller planes to shoot down, and just annoying to fight.
How it would work is similar to the Group is recruiting button where if it’s on you play against players who don’t have a jet in their lineup, off you have a chance to fight against a jet player. Simple as that.

playing br3 is pretty nice tho maybe instead they can bring Germany jets down to br4 since they actually used it during ww2

google says it never saw German jets so no lol and they had a jet 20 months before allies had one
Adding jets was a mistake.
I propose a simple and elegant solution:
Since SU-9 (1946) is clearly post-war, there’s no discussion about it, then it needs to be BR6 with ±0 MM.
Similarly, German, American and Japanese jets also go to BR6.
Since we now have BR6, we can move the prototypes that never ever saw WW2 combat there too – T20, Hyde, Autohei, AS-44, RD-44, AVT-40 (20), Ho-Ri, JapTiger, T-34-100 all go to BR6 as well.
Pershing, Super Pershing, King Tiger, STG-44, FG-42-2 and AVT-40 (15) are now left without “counterwwights” (honestly, who cares) so they can be either moved to BR6 too or nerfed enough to stay at BR5.
For all I care, this fantasy BR6 can be made “all maps for all BRs, free for all, Japan against Germany in Stalingrad”, so that they don’t complain about “lack of players” – fantasy weapon enjoyers will all be stroking each other’s bolts in a single player pool.
As a result we can have:
I think Germany should keep its jet at br5 tho since they used it while the allies used theirs for defending their land and supposedly never went over enemy territory

The 262 entered service in April 1944, the meteor in july 1944… yeah definitely 20 months I guess.
Intercepting tons of V1 bombs over the English channel is imo more impressive than getting your ass kicked by some prop planes

well im getting it all from google lol but it says German jets shot down over 500 planes while allies had around 50 also the 20 month thing might have been about the jets taking flights but google insist that Germany had jets on the western front while the meteor was only in friendly air space
I don’t think jets are that big of a deal. Yeah they’re fast but even I’ve shot them down (multiple times in the same match) as an IL 2
it is possible to kill them but I think the issue is that the meteor is super efficient when it comes to CAS and mobility while other jets only have 1 bomb and low ammo

Me 262 needs it’s second bomb. you can clearly see it’s missing one.

But Jets specifically need to be removed. Much as I hate to advocate for content removal this case is just… necessary. Jets make every other plane unplayable.
I don’t personally care about fighting with Jets, I would rather have the option to be able to play only other solo players and opt out of group matches.
