Allow more than 4 members in a group

That’s exactly it, you again answer yourself…
A stack of 4 “meh” players who act togheter in coordinated fashion, push cap zones all at once, call out enemy vehicles and coordinate their extermination togheter…

Is way more effective than many good players working solo, just HOPING their team will work togheter to do what’s needed to win.

As for this:

It’s pretty rare, tbh. When you guys lose as 4 guys is probably when the opposite team… Has a stack of their own :stuck_out_tongue: thus making the match fair.

A MM allowing both sides the same amount of stacked players is highly needed:

  • It will make adversaries hate the game, and desert, less.
  • It will make the match less boring for those who stack with friends often, providing a fair challenge.
  • It will make solo players of BOTH sides suddenly an important factor to victory, them not having to rely only on, or suffer vs, stacks, as they’ll be busy countering each others.
  • It will make the game survive longer before dying, as ppl will quit less.

Why didn’t i see any of these concerns when other forum members made posts asking for voice chat for the entire team?

How about you let players play together in the same squad, then you can have however many men your smallest squad has. If your smallest squad is 7 men, you can play with up to 7 friends in that squad, that way it’s not too overpowered.

For example, a sniper squad with 3 snipers, an engineer and an anti-tank, you get first pick, then the rest either get assigned roles randomly.

Yes they’d have to wait if they died but whatever. Or you can bring only one friend so if he dies or you die you can take up another role.

wtf you are even talking about? this is not the way squads work.

Instead of having a squad with all AI, you’d have a squad with AI and humans in the same squad, I know it’s not how they work

They could even add inter-squad voice communication

this is topic about 4 separate players with 4 squads playing together in a team. not 4 players playing with 1 squad.

Yeah and everyone is against it, so I suggested something different while still allowing you to play with your friends

yes, i had a post with this issue some half a year ago

and it would be stupidly OP. you could get 7-9 players that are in 1 squad+9 other players that may be in group. bots are easy kills and you want to make it so you dont have bots in team? idiotic suggestion. better play lone ranger.

Nah, would be limited of course, like I assume platoons are now

  1. you dont have to pray to rng gods to get you good squad, you can make one yourself
  2. communication
  3. teamplay
  4. marking
  5. guaranteed players and not bots

this is what lone rangers is about. you get single soldier to play with. and you can get up to 20 players.

  1. When other forum users hinted for team voice chat everyone was happy, so it’s ok to have the team comunicate with eachother as long as no more than 4 ppl know eachother? loading logic…

  2. teamplay… well look at the daily dose of complaints of players having to carry the entire team and complaining about bad teammates and bots… again, loading logic…

  3. marking. Everyone complains about teammates not marking, when playing in a group you get more marks than when playing alone, helping the entire team.

  4. yes, you get more players/ match and less bots, what’s the problem?

  1. communication is good when it is available to everyone. it is not good when only select few can communicate and nobody in opposing team can.
  2. i dont get what you proved with this point. if anything you proved that stacks are OP.
  3. and what about enemy team? where you get all randoms? where there is no marking?
  4. you seriously dont see problem? you get guaranteed 4 players in one team, while other team may be full of bots or newbies or whatever.

It’s completely unrelated, and stop trying to change the subject when you realize your idea is not generating as much support as you thought it would. I’m answering your op, and just like the rest of the playerbase answered you, (not) sorry if our opinions diverge.

But I’ll still answer your question:

  • the playerbase is toxic. Even with only text, those writing the most during matches are those complaining and insulting others because they don’t play to their standards, don’t build a rp (when they themselves don’t) or cry for ammunition boxes without wasting time to build it themselves.

Now, imagine if you could HEAR those complaints to boot…

That’s why.

It’s called a debate and in a debate one can point to multiple issues and arguments.
And yes, before you play the butthurt card even harder, i know that our opinions differ and that’s the point in a debate, find out the pros and cons on a issue based on other ppl opinions and experience.
So there’s no need to feel (not) sorry for thinking out loud, no offence taken

if you want to play with more players, you can always go to custom match. stacks are too OP for solo queue.

well, there’s that i guess

Here i agree with your point of view, tho it seems weird to focus on just a few loudmouth assholes

Like having 4 people communicating, or even worse degenerates who syncdrop 2x4 squads isnt cancerous enough
