since the las patch i dont play the bf 110 because the rockets are shit to aim they are dropping like bombs so my only cas i use is the b109 because i can defend myself
that is likely a bug with it since the 110 was powerful with the rockets, and was useable with just guns alone but thatâs for another topic
Iâd imagine it is due to the fact there were estimated 13,000 Allied Aircraft over D-Day; while, the Germans only fielded 4 squadrons.
2 to 1 doesnât sound bad at all, given that and the fact the 38 isnât carrying bombs. It could carry more than the A20 after allâŚ
You should start with history, because that way the Germans should have Pz V , VI and VI B then at Normandy not to mention PAK43 FLA8.8 and many more overpowered weapons that were all present at D-Day and aimed towards the beach or the sky over it
if your coming this way there were more tanks of the germans at the beach than the allied
Pretty sure the panzer divisions were held back from the beach to counter attack when needed
Well. Now ze âAmerikansâ have the Chaffee.
no they attackt the beach between a british and i think canadian landig side
Yes, but also no. The panzers were withheld from the beach to launch a counter attack in the event of an invasion but a delay in orders prevented their deployment in a timely manner.
In addition many of the panzer divisions stationed at Normandy were there for refits and training as can be seen from Wikipedia, though as itâs Wikipedia take that with a grain of salt.
That said the 12th panzer division which arrived later on during the battle for Normandy was comparatively better armed trained and equipped so itâs not to say there wasnât any German armour to meet the allied advance.
For the best view on how many German panzers were available, Wikipedia records the German strength at the start of the battle to consist of approx 2200 - 2500 tanks and assault guns of which 1400 - 2400 were reported lost by the battles end.
This is a bug. Confirmed on russian forum
