PPS was a direct downgrade compared to PPSH in all aspects except for price and a more reliable magazine. That’s the “reason” Soviets started switching to it - low price at the cost of everything except for reliability - and also the reason why it was quickly abandoned in favor of AK after the war. Which was actually an outstanding quality gun with actual strengths other than its price.
But in game is a different story, pps42/43 can fight aganaist end game weapon and win all time, they are very good
I mean it was also lighter, lower rate of fire which was more controllable and also more reliable. The AK47 simply made everything else obsolete due to its intermediate caliber.
Price and ease of manufacture was the main factor of course but I wouldnt call the PPS 43 a downgrade
I cant wait for the AS44
Lighter = higher recoil => lower rate of fire to compensate for that. I didn’t mention that because these are tradeoffs, not upgrades or downgrades.
I wasn’t the one who started mixing the two together as if they are interchangeable. Also even ingame it isn’t as clear with a 71 round magazine that actually feeds reliably 100% of the time. They keep tweaking recoil on PPSH/PPD, though, so maybe my experience with them is no longer applicable.
I know that. But what I must do with players from XBOX and PS, WHOM DROP ME FROM TOP 10, BECAUSE THEY PLAY VS BOTS.
Ok i sayed in game they work like high end weapon, historical accuracy is not in darkflow agenda anymore, you have rigth in real life they maybe are shit compared to the ppsh41 but in game the pps is OP
Actually, good news for you, it is also OHK in the chest!
As well as PPSh and even starter PPD can deal with it. LMGs too.
Thing is, gear is not the issue here. It’s the teams.
Of course they chose the AK instead. It’s a Russian copy of a German gun
Essentially they have the same weapons as Berlin and Moscow where they have no problem winning against the same weapons. People still cant understand its the players and not the equipment though.
The concept yes for sure. The actual function though is much different
I have a question, Should I explain why you’re wrong or assume it’s satire?
Kinda not sure on this one.
With me, satire. Always assume I’m satirical.
was nice to see ya the other day , kinda felt sad to destroy your kv1 x)
That’s very true. After I finished the German campaign I switched to the Soviets. I’ve been afraid a little bit because it’s a returning topic here that life as an Allied in Stalingrad is very hard but I think there is not much difference.
Good team mates counts more than weapons. Building rally points in usefull locations, spotting and marking tanks and larger infantry groups and of course going to the cap zone is more useful than playing Vassily Zaytsev with a top weapon and don’t care about the progress of the battle.
Especially marking is quite underrated in this game. When I spot flanking enemies I mark them with three marks to signal the direction where a new attack will come from. Mortar squads, arty and dive bombers also find their targets easier this way.
shouldn’t exist.
I won around 50-60% of my matches as commie there.
Jesus. This aint rocket sciene… or Tunisia.
Well. the Yankees still exist. Like the M1919 doesnt exist.
One day Soviets (stalingrad) will wake up and realize they have some of the strongest equipment and vehicles in the game.
…when the good players on axis max out everything and move on to soviet. I would love to play them to use their equipment. Just cant bring myself to do it at the moment.
Maxed out soviets and it wasnt that hard. Sure I won more time with the Axis, but I have a solid winrate of 72% for the soviets in Stalingrad and needed 20 minutes more playtime to do so. It is just, that the soviets suffer from the Zaytsev complex IMO. It is just so funny to see how many snipers are trying to climb the walls of Stalingrad instead of going for the cap. But hey:
“aint no fun without a sniper gun”
