All of the promises and requests

The community has asked for a lot of change over the last year, but barely any of that was delivered.

Suicide bombing, bunnyhopping, full-autos, SFs, bipods, movement, explosives, plane models, tanks are still broken.

Stalingrad wasnt supposed to have more than 1 premium squad, which is a useless collector squad. But they added the best guns into them, into 2 new squads.


Yet there they are!

Bipods after all this time are still very broken, still yet to be fixed.
You “improved” them in the Stalingrad update. There was no improvement

After the community asked for less full autos, nerfs to SFs we get:

Nerf to semis
More SFs, for everyone
Broken ARs
ARs for the best classes (Stalingrad)

Bunnyhopping

Still extremely broken and exploitable. You were notified about this issue so long ago, yet you do fuck all to fix it. 5 months ago said youre working on it? Wheres the work?

You did do some work here, so take a little bit of credic, but not much.

Artillery is still broken easy to use. Press 7, click, watch the kills.

Premium squads!

We asked you to fix them, let us add regular troops, make them cheaper, dont make them OP.

Well you went the complete opposite route. Didnt add engineers to old squads, made them more expensive, made them downright better than regular squads :clap:

So as you can see, the devs do fuck all to fix the game. Empty promises, to get us to spend cash on this dying cash cow

the monetization is bad yeah.
Now, nerfing movement as a whole in the game is a massive coping due to a secere case of S.I.
Suicide bomb needs to be addressed AFTER the grey zone is addressed as well (or just outright removed) . i WILL continue to suicide bomb every single tank i see in the grey zone unapologetically.
Auto rifles are a part of the game and thats what entice players to grind forward, theres no need to nerf them more than then already are. simply buff the bolts like stalingrad and solve the issue.
Stop trying to make an arcade game realistic, i thought we’ve been over that already, smh
Also, more than 90% of the premium squads in this game are not op, thats also a case of the S.I.
The rest i didnt mention, yeah, fair point, i agree.

any bolt should give us guaranteed 1 shot kill if its to the chest or head. ive came across the situations where sometimes it just downs the player if its to the head

Suicides should have a 30 second respawn that adds 10 seconds to your respawn each time you do it.

I would add a “grace” suicide in to this equation. There are and continue to be instances where you switch to a squad member only to find that they have somehow crawled under or inside a building/terrain feature and are basically stuck there…at which point the only way to get back in the fight is to Suicide.

Well you see we are talking about a state of the game where everything works, and stuff like that is finally fixed

I agree with you on everything except the arcade part. This game was advertised as having some level of realism, maybe not HLL realistic, but certainly not full on arcady which it currently isn’t either.

Well. I agree but also partly disagree.
One thing is that devs always say: We are working on it. Dont believe it.

Well. Lets be real. The maps suck, especially as tanker. Take D-Day as example.
There is NO reason to drive to the cps. Too close to the spawns, Allies have no real protection from Obi Wan Germans on the hills and the points are clusterfuck and automically mean suicide (oh and also that EVERYONE can destroy a tank/ no class limit).

Idk what kind of masterplan they have here but only bigger maps makes people driving from the cps and you cant make bigger maps from the scratch.
This issue is partly connected to:

Depending on campaign, its the sole way to kill camping tanks. Also I think its not only on purpose but also because people either crashed or got hit. The solutions I ve heard so far were decent at best and I dont think the devs have something better in mind.

Why is that bad? Not like many people play engineers at all looking at the engineer points on the scoreboard and is actually limiting SFs/ ARs. Should be meta especially as Stalingrad buffs BAs.

Wel… Partly Stalingrad. Guess never+ one month it will be in other campaigns as well.

? Artillery is probably the best balanced explosive ingame. Only one class can call it, people can call it every four minute, has cooldown of 1min for the team and warns the enemy/ you, and it doesnt really work inside most buildings.

Its bad because it makes gameplay too fast, therefore in my opinion more boring and generic.

Now giving engineers MKBs doesnt mean ill build anything. Ill just use the infinite ammo you get.

This game claims to be an authentic WW2 experience. You cant have that when every german, soviet soldier is running around with MKBs, AVTs, AVs, FG42.

If i want a game where there are all the prototype, trophy style guns i can play COD

This was already the case in Beta with the BA-11 and the Panzer 3 B. (and I am still not sure if the Germans actually used the ZB and G98 in Moscow). Guns like the early PPD, Toz or the Madsen are more or less justified on the base of “the Soviets used everything they got”.

The retarded level design (and depending on campaign) makes it hard to stick with 40 levels and 100% historical accuracy. Sometimes its not a major problem (Idk MP28 in Moscow, ZK in Normandy or the British guns in Normandy without UK units), sometimes it is (Jumbo, T-50 or idk the ZH spam in Africa and Russia).

The problem is partly fixed in Stalingrad. Saying that onl Assaulters get automatic stuff sounds nice but then would require a semi-total overhaul of the levels and squad levels as most Sfs are unlocked with radio and engineer.
Limting in that way is the best approach. Not like only putting it on Assaulter would fix it as people would just spam Assaulter squads then and increase the chnace that theymight use the hammer b 0,5%.

If people dont build anything at all, they dont get ammo from boxes as well. The engineer is maybe the most unused class apart from mortar and even then people still dont build anything with them but just shoot.

I see way less MKbs and AVTs in Stalingrad than Avtoms and MPs in Berlin or Normandy. PPSh is far more common and still I would say 60% of my inf death are caused by rifles.

Well something like this is decently acceptable. Sometimes that is, in this case, no since there are definitely alternatives.

These dont impact gameplay as much as something like a T50 or an MKB or an AVT.

Id say the best approach is to just make a new class: Auto rifleman. Theyll have stuff like MKBs, FGs, AVTs, AVSs. Just 1 squad, 3 auto rifleman, and you can fit some in other squads.

Assaulters should just have SMGs, in other cases maybe a shotgun.

Thats because nobody plays that campaign anymore. If you remember the first 2 weeks, you know that every game was just MKBs, AVTs, PPSHs.

The B is total crap, only exists if people cant use the II properly (just give the Germans the F. earlier and move on. By removing the B the Germans could maybe get a free tank/ StuG with HEAT) and the BA-11 is known for its weird and buggy hitbox.

Still this would require a total overhaul of the level system and maybe its just me but not everyone wants to grind more Tier II and Tier III squads depending on campaign and number of guns (also Axis Moscow dont even have a SF so it doesnt make sense to introduce this class if some nations/ sides doesnt even need one).

Why? According to descrpition, assaulters have access to automatic and submachine guns. I dont see why we shouldnt give them Sfs.

We could also give them to Radio II squads at this point as only two radios are allowed per radio squad etc. and forget the whole new class stuff. Would probably give us a reason to grind and use II squads.

Not really. In fact the Soviets refused to play the campaign at the start because they were forced to play against a German gun which wasnt nerfed to the ground. So there were not many AVTs and Soviet PPShs to begin with.
In fact many people also complain much about BA sniping which is why I have my doubts about the auto and ba spam.
Since free people dont play Stalingrad (much) I find it weird that you come with experience anyway.

hmmm… that one makes me think, what if its replaced for some other perk, something more useful and less bs like improved accuracy/aiming?

To be honest, this sums up the state of Dark Flow as game dev just nicely. This should be pinned at best, can’t let this get buried.
