In your defense, the 5th column of your screenshot tells the tale.
You had more kills in the cap point than the next 7 players combined.
Meanwhile, the enemy team was bringing it, top 3 players had 2/3 of their kills in the cap point.
I’ve seen similar patterns, but mostly it’s an initial zerg rush into the capture point, and if you can sustain a defense against that for the first 3-400 tickets, the offense tends to wither away.
But I’ve been rolled in all kinds of maps because of a variety of factors. Biggest issue I see nowadays is there are people who secure the flanks and push to the enemy spawn, but since no one coordinates with each other and people may not understand how the game works, you get 1 or 2 sneaky-breeky types from the enemy team that run into the point with understrength squads and pull off a rapid capture.
My other favorite is people fighting over the PREVIOUS objective and not understanding that it has, in fact, shifted about 150 bloody meters away. Grey Zone eventually solves that, however.
Overall, I think there’s far too much emphasis on kills, and not enough on teamwork. I do think Darkflow is working on changing that with both the forthcoming Medic Class and the recent GENEROUS bumps for engineering tasks.
This was nothing about you personally, I mainly just wanted to chime in and say:
