a BR 2 gun doesnt counter a BR 3 gun being unlocked early because those two things are not related.
one is part of the grind, the other is actual BR placement and part of the game balance.

Except theres really no use for LMG’s, especiatly in low BR where majority of smg’s are by far better than the lmg’s.
Even at higher BR its by far more effective to use either Auto rifles or assaulters.
Excluding stinger.
So your logic here is much like saying KT2 in BR2 would be just fine because soviet spades are so much better at digging.

Ok then we can actually shift it to BR 3, I don’t really care much about adding SKS or not, but what I care is either a counter to that or actually shift it to BR 3 part
LMG in germany serves good purpose as there is a lot of people using it as automatic sniper or as a backup weapon for dual welders

Well in this game, meta doesn’t matter much unless if you care too much. Thats why in germany a lot of them uses MG 13 in BR 2 as it has low recoil, so its good as a automatic sniper. You can go ahead try harass people with PPSH 41 drum but still have great chance of MG 34 gunners beating you up and harassing you from spawn instead.

Did I ever mention that? Soviet and German battles don’t suffer. Japan is insufferable already. But Germans vs Allies is that main issue that wehraboos are too distracted to notice

Well Soviet has OP smgs, and few tanks. Germans has OP Mgs, and few tanks too. So Its pretty much fair game from my perspective. Just like I said, I really don’t hate the idea of soviet good at smgs, and germans good at mgs type balance

Why though? Don’t get me wrong, it is actually nice at BR3, but not really a thing that needs a counter…
Personally I would pick more G41 at BR3 instead, but the reaload speed alone is too terrible to be worth it.
Also it doesn’t kill in one shot against soviet body armor.
M1 Garand and SVT are at minimum equal for BR3 guns, even though those guns have different roles.
Basically every MG is good at being used with a bipod now, this doesn’t make MG13 specifically great.
I haven’t changed my mind on MGs, their ability to give mid - long range support fire was absolutely needed, but they are still not part of the actual meta, unlike some TOP BR weapons like the RPD that can be used very very effectively on the move.
Well every faction have their strengths and weaknesses. If Germany doesn’t fit your playstyle and their tanks, then come over to soviets. If you love to spray and pray like me with MG 42 and HE spammer, then come over to Axis. If you want to fly planes like a murican bald eagle, then Allies is your best choice for it. In the end its entirely your choice after knowing each factions weakness and strength
