Add penalty for leavers

This is pretty bad choice for now becouse we have no other way to select what we wanna play !!..
Becouse we are still lab rats and Gajin needs us to play everything to test all the stuff !!
If they give us option now we would not be playing conquest at all and it would be filled with bots like Lone fighters !
I understand people who just quit when placed in conquest maps as more than offten they are boring and not that much fun as invasion maps !

Too grind-dependent game to make me waste time on matches where I get less than 1k xp/min. And after 200 hours in the game, you begin to understand such things after just a minute of the battle.

Therefore, my winrate is about 90% for all the factions that I played (except Germany in Normandy before the fixes, where I believed in my teams until the last)

So you seen it all, huh noobcakes. I have gotten the same fucking map same mission 14 times in a row before asshat. so STFU and quit crying.
And FPS been out since 1990’s and mid 90’s on the PC. Medal of honor was the first good fps on PC. and this game is basically a upgraded version of that older game.

Maybe if Conquest was a game mode worth playing I wouldn’t back out of Conquest games. The only reason I leave games is bc it’s either a shitty conquest map or it’s just a crappy, one sided map. A time ban is just so stupid, but we should all listen to you since you seem to know what everyone’s best interests are. Maybe instead of getting mad at the players you should ask the devs why people are leaving games, there’s a saying that goes ā€œdon’t hate the player, hate the game.ā€

There’s already a penalty when you leave mid-game. Forcing people to play certain maps that they don’t like can ruin their enjoyment of the game. Imagine having a battle task where you have to get flamethrower kills, and you get Swamps of Reviers over and over again? It would be annoying as hell, but at least you could requeue to hopefully get a map where you can actually enjoy the game.

Conquest is trash, because all it takes is a spawn point at A or C, while all the stormtroopers rush B and lose

I quite enjoy some conquest maps, so I don’t agree with you. But I understand it’s not for everyone.

On the other hand, in invasion mode if defenders were given a 30 seconds ā€œpreparation timeā€ while they bring up the barbed wire, sandbags etc. but blocked by temporary grey zone next to first objective, and attackers are allowed after this preparation time to enter the battle zone, that 30 seconds would already be enough to sort out who gonna stay and who is leaving due to game mode, and maybe replaced by other players. (As well as allowing time to load assets on slow computers.)

I don’t see how this same setup would be feasible for conquest maps. Maybe right after start you’d rush from further away, and first 30 second’s task is to reach and unlock the regular spawn point. This spawn unlocking thing could work for other cases as well - e.g. the weird event when defenders are still around as attackers start to spawn in a new spawn point, with spawn protection. If attackers need to reach and control spawn zones, that’s more in line with what is expected. …Well I fear it would probably not work better than now, but if anyone has ideas how to improve…

A way to select the preferred and disliked maps and game modes, or possibility to select from currently running games is probably better than immediately punishing early leavers.

That’s right, they said something about adding selective game modes. I prefer long drawn out games like Red Orchestra and the like. Some people are the opposite.

If my team is playing like a bunch of plants and I’m the only one trying, I’m not fucking putting myself through that.
If an enemy is playing the most scummy ways I’m not subjecting myself to that either. He can have his win if he’s going to play the part as the most unenjoyable opponent.

There already is a penalty, you lose 30% of your earnings if you desert.

If you want any more penalties you’re probably getting into a very shady area where people who’ve paid real life money could sue because now they cannot play the bloody game they’ve paid for.

Great, so punish the players who are most likely to continue playing, but may quit when pushed! Nothing can go wrong with that!

The two most important playerbases in a game is the old blood, and the newest players. Try to not annoy either of those groups.
