But - in the planned new progression tree, Allies have only - P-51C-10, P-51D-5 and P-47D-28.
Currently P-40E-1 exists in the game as a unlockable fighter plane in Stalingrad and also as a premium plane in Tunisia.
But - the version in Stalingrad is far better as it has more bombs (450 kg vs 90 kg).
My proposition is to include P-40 plane in new tech tree for the Allies (P-40E-1 or some other version) ---- OR ---- make the version from Tunisia the same good as the one in Stalingrad.
Why not do both? Give the Tunisia P-40E it’s 500lb bomb and make it on par with the Italian counterpart, then add a P-40F to the tech tree (the one with the Merlin Engine).
I really hope so, the P40 is an icon. The Pacific in particular feels incomplete without it, I guess it’ll be there after the merge but it would be nice to have a free version.
Axis planes don’t really have rockets worth using in this game outside of the 21cm anti-air ones, and the planes that can use them have it already have them. The rest would be on par with the ROS 82s the Soviet Hurricane has, which are horribly underpowered and really only good against the bomber formations. Blame the Germans for not making any good rockets for CAS.
No need… Right now all of the Japanese planes are way OP compared to their American counterparts. And right now there is no answer for the A6M… And for whatever reason the devs made the thing damned near omnipotent. They took away all of its weaknesses and gave it capabilities that it didn’t actually have. If it is a good piolet driving one, my Wildcat can never get my sights on it. But they can take out the wild cat in one burst. If it is a bad piolet (fortunately most of them are) I can typewrite in it all day with the four 50 cals before I see smoke, and the thing still doesn’t lose mobility. (Irl they had no armor while the Wildcat had armor and self sealing fuel tanks)
I got no problem with it being OP as long as the F4U or F6F rightfully own it
