We already have all of that included in US faction. Whatās the point to seperate it.
We already have it all.
then maybe the USSR and the USA will mix if you love mixed nations so much; they were also allies and fought against the same enemies
I love how people always come up with some far-fetched nonsensical arguments instead of saying at least one sensible one.
You forget pink unicorns btw.
I wonāt argue with you, Iāll see you when Britain separates from its own colony.
and I assure you that sooner or later it will happen
Thatās some proper debate ngl.
I do think so as well. But it definitely should not happen any time soon. And it will definitely not be player friendly.
If you keep splitting off factions into their own it gets alot more grindy and expensive. (You will need alot more soldiers)
I think its fine now. I dont care what the faction title is, my deck is pure commonwealth. Yankee if i wish
Let alone breaking factions apart will also lead to issues in the TT.
Such as with the british cut from the US.
their tech tree would be very bare bones in the SMG area.
M50-M3-M3A1-M1912-AUTO5-M1A1-M1928A1-M1-M28- and maybe the drum mag⦠maybe.
So basically hope you get used to the M3A1 for a long while.
and then get used to only using thompsons.
I donān think so, they would became Japanese V2.
X versions of the same weapon (for Japanese it is mp28, for brits most likely sten), followed by several smgs you have never heard of.
I think it is definitely inevitable, but I hope it will not happen any time soon.
EDIT: Oh, silly me⦠You were talking about mericans. But same scenario can be applied nevertheless.
The british would be worst off as a faction.
They: Donāt have a Semi automatic rifle. - The british in WW2 didnāt think they needed a Semi Automatic rifle due to the Enfieldās āMad minuteā allowing a user to fire the SMLE/Enfield insanely fast for a bolt action.
donāt have high tier LMGs - They worked around the BREN and Lewis gun, With more Heavy LMGs. There are probably more LMGs which could be added.
Donāt have high tier AT- As far as Iām aware they used the boys AT rifle and then PIAT⦠take the piat against a Tiger 1 or even Tiger 2 h and tell me how it fairs.
Donāt have many smgs unless we just get C and P stens (with very slight changes.)
They do have: More tanks which could be added.
more aircraft which could be added.
To give you an idea of what SMGs the british did use in WW2:
Lanchester submachine gun
Sten
BSA Welgun
Sterling/Patchett Machine Carbine
Along side the thompson.
I see Commonwealth, I like.
Agreed.
What I would like thought, that we requested, is simply being able to buy Commonwealth (and Italian) nationality soldiers.
Perhaps make the 2 sub factions legacy squads available through grind, or purchase as well
I think a better idea then another tech tree is just add more diverse maps featuring Commonwealth battles. I think the theatre that really is missing is the whole Italian campaign which featured many Commonwealth nations in battles like Monte Cassino, Anzio, Salerno, Ortona, Gustav Line, Hitler Line, Invasion of Sicily, etc.
We already got Italians and Germans (including German paras) to fight there and it would bring a different and beautiful Italian architecture and landscapes instead of more France (although I like the Battle of the Bulge maps).
Also they could add in a very awesome and unique Battle of Hong Kong campaign where you have British and Canadians defending Hong Kong against Japanese attacks. It would be good to diversify the Pacific a bit.
Btw. If seperate British faction would be planned for near future, I really do not understand why they have kept non legacy British squad in tech tree.
Tanker II squad for example.
Wouldnāt be more logical to just keep all tech tree squads pure American?
So it probably means that adding British into the US nation is not an ad hoc measure, but a long term solution.
debatable⦠if they removed italian stuff from german tree or british stuff from american tree, those nations would have reduced grindā¦
I mean you would need to grind the same squads and roll more of the same soldier.
For example, riflemen 3s for americaā¦then another lot for britain.
End up with alot more soldiers.
As it is now, once you have leveled them and have themā¦you can choose to use them as british or American
Wellā¦at least if you have the legacy squadsā¦no idea what it looks like if you dont
well some squads you would need to grind, some would be default unlocked and researched depending on weapon (but i think DF would manage to f that up like the merge). soldiers would add extra grind, but it is optional tech tree, so i dont see a problem there.
in return you would have loads of weapons/vehicles removed from US or german tech tree and heavily reduced grind there.
I doubt they would transfer currently British stuff in US tree to British faction.
They would just make them all legacy (including event and premium stuff). And you will need to grind British fiction from pure start.
Which would be beneficial only to newbies. I couldnāt care less since it has no impact on me.
Only change would be that newbies will be able to faster obtain BR5 stuff.
I doubt it, in warthunder for example, once its in the tree it stays in the tree. If the nation gets its own tree later you have to re grind everything.
Exactly dividing the player base further wonāt do any good for this game.
