Just finished a match where someone was using the Lewis gun squad.
Got over 200 kills because they camped back and have the 35% viality, while also just spamming ammo crates.
Didn’t push or help their team, just camped.
If every premium squad was back like it was in closed beta, it would be awful.
But these new squads are just as bad
look this is the role of the gunners, stay back and find a good position with the mg and offer support from distance, did you prefer that he used mg as a smg?
I’d prefer he got on the objective and capped like hes supposed too
it doesn’t work like that with certain squads, if you use a sniper squad you throw yourself in the midst of enemy fire? lmg are useless in direct combat I don’t think that player made a mistake he played as he should
Meh I definitely wouldn’t say useless. A max level MG13 with 75 round drum and vitality perk can be a complete monster up close. They are pretty controllable and function pretty well in Moscow where there are mainly bolt actions
Lewis gun is not an mg13 the mg13 is an assault rifle so you cant compare the two
The MG13 is an MG and the equivalent to the Lewis on the Axis for the premium squads. MGs are very powerful up close regardless of the nerfs and can still storm points

mg13 remains better, i tried the lewis gun in practice and i didn’t leave a good impression , is ok but the dt27 does the job much better
MG13 is VERY strong even with the 25 round magazine let alone a 75
however the trailers made with AI that doesn’t even move

if you can kill the enemies that arrive before they even arrive there is no reason to jump in front of everyone, but this depends on the situation so you are partially right
the lewis gun is still inferior in direct combat compered to the mg13 or mg30 or dt27, it is much better to use it from a distance and I see nothing wrong with using her like this
its one of my favorite weapons in enlisted too to be fair its probably on of the best lmg’s ^.^

It’s worse when you want to reply to a legitimate question but don’t want to spend an hour playing two games just to explain how to use a particular item
I had this problem a couple of months ago.
But still not all players are on the forum.
