Currently, there is no way to block a player during a battle. Adding a “block player” option to the scoreboard, like how we currently have the complain option, would be a welcome change to those of us who do not want to put up with abusive, homophobic, or racist messages for the reminder of the game.

As annoying as it can be sometimes, they are just words. It is honestly sometimes more fun to mess with them because their fragile ego makes them go off lmao. Then usually it is an easy report if you care to submit one.

Sadly, reporting doesn’t do anything, the same players that were doing this stuff when I started playing 2+ years ago are still doing it today.

I’d rather not mute chat since there are times it’s actually helpful, I use it a lot to call out enemy rally points for example. And it’s rather hard not to look at it when dozens messages pop up on your screen. Either way, neither of those solutions actually address the core issue: that messages like that are allowed in the first place, and that reporting a player does nothing, despite DarkFlow saying otherwise.

yes pls add a players block list, i need to ban half of the entire team every games, so i will get in general better mates to make the game less annoying

Yeah, it’s sad really. I would hope at some point the world can move past stuff like that, but I know it’ll never happen. I just want to play Enlisted in peace, without all the toxicity.
i mean you can also grow a thicker skin, after all sticks and stones may do actual damage but words can only do damage if you let it
I understand where your coming from Rick, but “some” people (not implying anyone in general) have mental health issues, which are beyond their control, and words can be more leathal then sticks n stones.
I am of the “thick skinned crew”, but I always remain mindful of others who might be more easily offened/upset with words.
PS: I just started this game myself and it would be refreshing to see some comunication in the chat channel ingame. I never see anyone say anything, and asking for targets to be marked is so far 100% time met with silence … lol is it always like that?

Just an example of the kind of stuff I’m talking about, I blacked out parts of the words but it should still be clear what he was saying, so it hopefully should be fine, if not I will remove it. This is the portions of the chat from a single match, in Berlin, I asked him not to build sandbags near the rally because my AI were getting stuck behind them, and this was his response, reported him in-game, but as we all know, nothing will be done.

Which is exactly what I’m asking for, adding a player to your blocklist stops you from seeing their messages. But currently there’s no way to do that mid-match.
