But most certainly the existence of this new game WILL indirectly affect Enlisted, and there will be some ties.
The early description already mentions “different timelines”, which pretty much guarantees that weapons, skins and assets from Enlisted and CRSED will appear there at some point.
it’s kinda funny because it just looks like and feels like enlisted with different skins
there’s a bright side to it though.
more assets for us to “rip-off” when ( and if ) custom content will be available for enlisted.
first from crsed, and now, theoretically, from this new game too…
so we can make more “modern” mods.
which, sure, it’s weird that in a ww2 game someone would play a modern one, but you’d be surprised by what the few people on customs plays.
i mean. it’s great.

( which, i dont’ think anyone really wanted or needed one. but i was bored. and figured to do something that no one though of. problem is, without custom content, i’m kinda on a halt )
TBF, it probably was created upon technical inheritance of both CRSED and Enlisted, so no surprise it feels similar. It’s both bad, as now Gaijin has more baskets to put its limited eggs which limits the funding Enlisted could get, but also good, in that the new team with AM might make some fun mechanics and assets that could be translated to Enlisted and which DF didn’t really have people or idea to do.

Not surprised to hear about this they got to jump on that bandwagon and strike while the iron is “Hot”. honestly, I’m over the extraction shooter nonsense the market is so over saturated right now. Good for modders of this game I guess but I’ll pass.
And not to sound too doom and gloom but I’m doubting that content will come out with any sort of regularity when this new game gets up and going. Gaijin will have to many “Money makers” and not enough under paid devs to produce quality content for them
not really my taste. i find extraction shooters boring… not to mention they are usually infested with cheaters.

There’s no intention to abandon Enlisted at all - it’s made by a different team at Gaijin.

The former developers from Darkflow that moved to Matter Team moved many years ago, hence it doesn’t influence anything happening now at all.
