what if i have my entire army in Normandy and Berlin fitted with Gewehr 43s, do i have like 40 of them total now? I don’t need that many, what if people bought additional squad spots for different campaigns? The full access for stalingrad, do you just always have 4x research? so many questions. this doesn’t seem too good of a change.

I dont think it depends on the setting whether people play custom battles. They dont because it’s complicated and quality is not guaranteed.
Like in normal battle, you click on “Battle” and there you go.
In customs, you get to find a battle with players manually. But no one guarantees that the players on that server are not just goofing around. No one guarantees that the setting and the map even make sense. You need to find out by yourself. And that is nothing im willing to do

I’m also an average Moscow enjoyer and I don’t possess the AVT
I hope with the new progression we will be able to immediately research the AVT if we already have AVS
But soviet Vs German is not my biggest concern, imagine having to fight against Tiger 2 with Americans. American tanks are just not designed to take out king tigers as most of them were sent to eastern front

Exactly, in addition of the more than questionable move of selling product in a game where one of the moto was respecting historical accuracy as much as possible for close to 2 years before turning around (I’m sure people with premium tanks in early war campaigns can’t wait to face a Tiger II or an IS-2 because they have like a PPSh-41 in one of their squad and their battlerating now consider them as a Berlin final boss), this is just what a large part of the community went for…
If there is a bit more leniency toward historical inaccuracy I can manage, like a FG42 in Stalingrad, no big deal.
But going full battle rating and no historical accuracy is a terrible idea.
Like even if I manage my squads and my campaign choices to keep it the way I want, the MP3008 being worse than the MP40 means that I will have them in Moscow no matter what.
There is some big improvements in this new mechanics, but please for the love of God make that equipping specific weapons lock you out of certain campaigns, putting a StG in Moscow has absolutely no benefits for anyone.
Honestly just a big pop-up message warning you that using this vehicle is going to block you from going in this or this campaign would be the best way to do it.
The problem of having the worse weapons later can be balanced by having multiple starting ones, like german SMGs for example, you cooukd start with the MP28 and MP3008 already available, nut equipping the later would lock you out of all the campaigns except Berlin (and all the future late war eastern front battles, like if we get the battle of Budapest one day, it was not technically there but neither was the MKb in Moscow,but at least it existed in a broader time frame in the area).
And does this mean the UK and US are going to be merged??
Because it would clearly be a waste of both.
But also a great opportunity to make a standalone UK/Commonwealth faction.
Does this open the door to minor faction being integrated in the game too?
If so cam we hope for some historical accuracy to remain when new campaigns comes out, like if France is added, we need a distinction between 1940 and 1944-1945 French army, because a French dude with a Garand dressed like a GI fighting to cover the British retreat from Dunkirk is the type of thing that is going to ruin this game.

Also what about squads?
Some battalion did not exist for certain campaign/period.
Let alone BR ratings. If I take PPSH/T-34/Fedorov then I never have a chance to play in Moscow because of higher BR?

How am I supposed to do with the BP missions asking for a specific campaign in a specific faction with the new system? There are certain days where sure there are three Eastern Front campaigns but I want to play only one of the campaigns at a certain time like this day I’m in a mood to play Moscow, the other day Berlin, Stalingrad or even a future Eastern Front campaign like how is this going to work?
Regarding the squad grinding, what will be the changes for it? As grinding high level squads is one of the most annoying things in the game with absurdly high amount of xp demanded for a single level there.

So if we want to enjoy a moscow match and are using a terrible tank like a panzer 3, I will face IS2s and AS44 because I have one kiraly or one scoped mkb? lol like Praatt said earlier

I can’t agree with you. Its awful only in 1 case: you want to play modern vehicles and don’t want to pay.
So many players will leave cuz of this new ‘‘historical’’ accuracy. I just know it.

Guess that’s an end to me playing Enlisted lol, I quit War Thunder because of the same terrible progression system, and frankly I’m not wasting any more time on this. The current progression system may not be perfect, but I genuinely prefer it in practically every way imaginable to the planned system. What a shame, I quite liked this FPS over almost everything else on the market.

This future mechanics really make me question why we can’t do it for weapons and vehicle too, it wouldn’t split players that much more, but it will definitely keep the large number of players concerned with a degree of historical accuracy being maintained happy.
Like things could go that way on the same screen where you would select your squad, with weapons available in specific campaigns being locked in the other, so of you can still queue in all campaigns at the same time but you will have different loadout when doing so.

you said that the number of people in the team will be reduced. But many players have already use the order to make thier soldier looks well. So ,if you reduce the number of people in the team, how do you deal with the remaining clothes.
