⭐ About the new progression and matchmaking

Finally… I think I’ve finally seen the greatest Dev of all time. I love you, Dark Flow. I didn’t like the way you always acted, but I’m really, really thankful for this time…

let’s hope we have BRs

Basically you have all stuff in all campaigns if the nation is involved. However this will probably only work if you have the campaigns now as a map rotation matchmaker in my oppinion

is that a yes?

No.

Totally agree

I strongly, wholeheartedly hope that this shifting to a War Thunder like progression system (which apparently will bring mostly good) will NOT come along with a shifting to a War Thunder like economy management, aka “be punished for playing”.

While I do have some reservations about this I will say that I think this is a really great change. We’ll just have to see how it continues to evolve

I think if I understood correctly all maps are in the rotation pool, perhaps the nations will be mixxed together aswell? Americans vs japanese in Moscow would be funny lol

say goodbye historical accuracy

oops wait a minute

It doesn’t look like they’re going to compensate veterans for the fact that the devs seem to think that each country is “unique” from campaign to campaign, for example MP40 is definitely different in Moscow, Normandy, Berlin, Tunisia and Stalingrad, and it’s worth spending the experience to unlock and try them over and over again.

Did I mention the weapons that need to be unlocked in the later levels? Like the Lanchester and M1A1 which you can get very early in Tunisia and require level 26 and 29 in Normandy? No, you should ignore them.

One death you have to die for fun and balancing purpose. Atleast similiar weaponary will face eachother. So I dont thing we will see Panzer IV VS Jumbo sherman any ore

No, every weapon and every vehicle can appear on any map - you will see Tigers and IS-2s in Moscow. There will be limitations so those Tigers will not meet T-60s.

But the nations will stay the same as now - no Japanese in Moscow for example.

Ok I think I like the sound of this, I’m hoping this means adding new content to existing campaigns using the new trees… not campaign levels, but I have some reservations.

I have maxed all campaigns, can I bring Jagdpanther to Normandy? Jumbo to Pacific? IS2 to Moscow? That is not my favourite thing with this change, I have rocket tank in Moscow, I can bring to Berlin, LA7 in Moscow - I think this just blurs the campaign themes a bit too much imho.

But as always lots of questions, let’s see how this works, I like the idea of playing for weaker sides, I never personally didn’t mind the grind, I just hope there is an option to chose the campaign specifically, I like Tunisia, will I still be able to focus on one campaign when in mood?

What about bullet pen in Moscow, is that ever going to get re-tweaked?

why do i get war thunder ptsds.

anyway, earlier to have a full comment by me.

though i can say for the moment ( the first thing that comes to my mind )
sounds good for the fact that you somewhat select what you want or skip branches and stuff, sounds bad for historical stuff that caught me in the first place.

but,

what do you mean by that. customization won’t be a thing anymore?

or change the customization system into Desert sets > Summer sets and Winter sets ?
so, still allow some customization? or it’s all decided by the game.

and what will happens with the current customization pieces that we bought?

so… no pves yet

yikes

yay.

really glad about this one

but we’ll see.

so far, mixed feelings. curious about how it will plays out :+1:

but that’s what majority of the community asked, and kudo for you guys to deliver it.
( and/or do a 180 on it )

One more, this time economical question - will the weapon and equipment selling mechanism be expanded. We as veterans, who now have all or almost all campaigns finished and equipped will end up with a lots of unnecessary equipment. For example I have mines equipped to every soldier in all campaigns that I play. But after the implementation of new system I assume that I will have to equip only 6 squads per nation (with premium). What will happen to the other +/- 100 mines, pouches, weapons etc.? It would be nice to exchange all of the equipment we gathered through hours of playing to some benefits in new system.
