Year based weapon restriction is a choice, a weapon only appear in maps that battle happened after its year of production, this give least extra constraints to balanced matchmaking but keep historical accuracy. (Edited for spelling mistakes)
Well, okay, at least let me edit back the comment (editing its locked)
Just special check for those who have grinded/paid for duplicated things. And calculate the duplicated XP/money and translate into newer research point, or redeem it.
Using filters in .csx/.db isnt that hard right?
I dont even ask for precision calculation from start. Just ask for that campaign level. You know even monetization charged separately, not from start.
If you need time, of course, shut down the server and take some hours to transfer. No one will complains. You’ve already done that.
Imo (it need explained better) spam end game equipment on all squad it give you a ticket for tryharder land, a more balanced equipment probably it let you figth with normal player
Hey. Hey. I have a question.
I only play Stalingrad and Battle of Moscow. I only play squads. I want to continue only these two campaigns. After the new update, is it possible?
Is there a possibility that the IS 2 tank and the Tiger or Jagdpanther will appear in the Battle of Moscow?
The same applies to Stalingrad.
Moscow and Stalingrad took pride in historical accuracy!
- What will happen to all the separate slots we bought
- also what will happen with old premiums, will they receive engineers?
And seriously:
- can “low equipment rating” players face “high equipment rating” players, or not (meaning everyone will use the same thing)
“the replacement of the complicated order system with a simple currency”
was that already be answered in more detail? Because i got a lot and would like to know how they translate in the new system.
What about the Pacific pack feature that all soldiers are pre leveled up to level 4?
Will I loose the thing I bought, will it only work in the Pacific?
I applaud the boldness of the development team in planning such a drastic change.
This will greatly aggregate scattered players and create the basic conditions for the mechanics of solving current robot farm combat tasks.
For me as players want more diverse battlefields and choices, I’m glad to see such changes, it means the developer team can add more different game content on the new structure
But this branches do not solve the problem of the weapon’s uselessness on the battlefield. I am very concerned about this issue.
When it comes to infantry weapons, players gravitate toward submachine guns and bolters, and these bolt-action rifles quickly become useless in the game. How to make more weapons appear on the battlefield instead of strengthening and weakening the characteristics of weapons?
Also, the large number of throwables that players often equip now are unnecessarily nerfed and rendered useless, yet players are still abusing everything in the game thanks to the infinite mode. Molotov cocktails and white phosphorus bombs, are you going to keep reducing these things to cotton candy?
When it comes to vehicles, such as the T-26 and T-60, but also the Ba-11 and Stug III A, these guns have little chance of appearing on the battlefield if the player has a more advanced tank.
Many things are difficult to balance simply without a suitable mechanism, and due to nerfing the characteristics of weapons, such as eliminating the penetration of the heavy machine gun’s wooden material, the game loses its characteristics and fun.
I don’t know if there will be information about this in the future news.
I’m expecting something similar to War Thunder respawn points and CRSED soul points in the game. In this way, these historically common vehicles, such as the T-26, can play a combat role at a lower deployment cost, and the battlefield will be more diverse.
Maybe there will be a better solution to this problem, which is what I’m currently thinking about.
This is also one of the elements of historical authenticity and immersion.
A large number of T-26 and a small number of T-34, KV1, and KV2 blocked a large number of German armored troops on the way to Moscow. These German troops are mainly equipped with Panzer III tanks.
This historically accurate and immersive setting cannot be found in current game modes.
Although some players claim to need historical accuracy, in the current 6 campaigns, none of the campaigns really have the so-called historical accuracy. Players use almost every opportunity to abuse all bolters and explosive weapons. Uncommon weapons are deployed in combat on a large scale.
Expect more improvements and game mode details.
You play with meta gear I use, you fight against players like me.
You use starter gear, you play with players with same gear as them
damn man, good job darkflow, noone realizes how much an average player appreciates when the dev team listens to the community, keep it up, full speed ahead!
I worry that if you do not find a way to limit this based on what campaign you choose to play (Moscow, Pacific, etc), the game will be ruined by automatics.
The more automatics you get, and the more certain maps cater to automatics, the worse the game is.
I play Pacific and Stalingrad more often because automatics and semiautomatic weapons have a somewhat limited value there and bolt action rifles are still effective. For the rest of the campaigns, if you use a bolt action rifle, you are getting obliterated.
Also, phosphorous grenades are absolute rubbish. They are the old, prenerf tnt packs on steroids.
Also, as you advance in level, how is the game design going to encourage players use varied weapons, tanks, etc? Because right now, higher level is better, and most of the lower level gear, tanks and planes stand almost no chance against the higher level ones. This means, players who have everything unlocked will have a massive edge over those who do not.
Other than that, most changes presented are interesting, and they seem to be for the better.
Now I wonder what would happen if I (maxed on every campaign) invite a few (level 4-15) players to a squad
I think the aircraft tree should be divided into fighter and attack aircraft. For those who need one, the other is very distracting and discourages research. For those who need both fighter and attack aircraft, the research effort is the same. I believe they should be separated.
GOOD QUESTION.
is it smarter to upgrade weapons now or later when 80% reduction is remove ? ??
This could be big problem when they possible remove 80% reduction and make our orders convert into peanuts!
Actually i use
8 BA
3 SA or SF
4MG
4 or 5 SMG
Because im using more BA in 3 infantry squad than automatic gun i think i have face other players with my same setup and not try harder or noob, in fact is not clear if you get a tiket for tryharder land only because you decided to use 1 stg44 alongside your mp40/Kar german army
It say only that the game give you a ranking based on your equipment, this is not clear
I’m afraid you’re not answering the question here, the question is players like us, who invested millions of EXP for the same type of weapon in different campaigns, is there to be any compensation for us (i.e. gold refund or some other compensation)? To be honest, we expect serious compensation here, compensation worthy of our time and money (skipping levels) we’ve spent for your game, don’t let us down, thanks.
They are conveniently ignoring my questions so it’s safe to say they will remove any perks we previously had and paid real money for (x4 xp, 3 additional universal slots, bronze order discount, 4-5 star instead randomized 1-5). If that’s the case i’m not spending any more money on Enlisted i don’t want to turn this game into another Destiny 2 that removes content you paid for. Also i hope you remember how they promised all content to be given to full access owners and then added shamefully premium squads to that campaign? Yeah i remember so it wouldn’t be the first time when they are doing something anti-consumer.
“We will try to keep as much of your belongings as possible. Others will be redeemed or compensated.”
Yeah current stuff will still be there since you have data but nothing about the perks for full access campaigns.
How will customization of squads work?
I don’t like having all equipment available at all campaigns. So when there will be possibly an early war map like Poland or France, i feel driving around a Tiger is way off
