Even when trying to land on the carrier it consider as a suicide when trying to save the plane. So yeah not great
most tanks in low BR can pen each other with few exceptions, all engineer AT cannons can pen all tanks (with maybe exception of japanese vs sherman cause i dont remember armor values for m4a2, but mg port works always). you have AT rifles that work against most low BR tanks and rocket launchers that work against all low BR tanks. not to mention you have planes with bombs that can take out even KT, not to mention low BR tanks.

But practice makes good. Took me a year & a half to become decent. That’s how bad I was… Flying in Enlisted is really fun. So satisfying doing a successful bomb pass, where when you drop a bomb a hit marker appears to show your bomb landed DIRECTLY on target… (Something you don’t learn doing “precision strikes”)
A good pilot controlling the skies and continuously taking tanks out as they are marked is a tremendous help for the team.

I’ve been practising a little in the Practice zone. I’m slowly, slowly, improving with M/K. I tried using a controller thinking it’d be easier, but hell no, that shite is cursed!

Ah no, avoid controllers with planes. You need as many buttons as you can to control well.
If only the “C” button allowing you to look around while flying (I’m constantly doing that out of paranoia and I hallucinate enemy engine sounds)
The only thing missing in practice mode, are other planes flying in random maneuvers…
Best low lvl practice is with Soviet & Axis biplanes. Because of how maneuverable they are and got bombs & rockets.

Are you sure you are using the correct settings? Don’t you have something set up that makes flying more or less impossible?
Since I really don’t understand what’s causing you such a difficulties… I could understand if you couldn’t time the bomb drop correctly. But if you are constantly crashing with plane unintentionally, even when you’re trying to do the exact opposite. That’s ultra weird to me. Because I find flying in Enlisted really easy and intuitive…

Honestly, I don’t know what the best settings are. I’ve kinda figured that softly, softly, catchy monkey on the controls is key, but the way the camera pans when you turn is really off-putting.
I don’t know why I suck so much. I used to fly a lot of combat sims back in the day and was quite the Ace.
Oh, and I don’t use planes in combat here, I figure it’s best to leave it to someone else who can at least utilise them more effectively. Hence why I only fly in Practice mode. For now at least…

I agree. I was originally thinking to mandate it be an infantry squad, but making it a timer also works.
Oh and please remove it from the practice range. Let us practice bombing(and when to pull up to not crash) without punishing us.

I don’t care if the enemy crash their plane because they just lose ticket and member to defend or attack the point so it not a problem

And if you wipe out one to two squad or a tank, I guess the “loss” of one member should be equalized as well.
It is so “not a problem” that the devs had to use counter measures again.
i thought it wasnt a problem till i encountered somewhat skilled player using it. every 40-50 seconds HVAR spam and/or bomb spam. counters dont work on it cause you spot plane late and even if you shoot him, he can still deliver rockets from 1000m with rather good accuracy.
Since we can use bombing with higher efficiency, why can’t we use it?

If those idiots can’t even resist the bombing that takes an average of 1 minute and a half or more to start again.

It’s that they are so incompetent that even normal air strikes can easily destroy them.
Even if it is a normal flight aircraft
They also struggle to make large gains when they don’t have ground guidance or are unlucky

Of course, a suicidal person can drop a bomb and then pull it up, or drop the bomb in advance before committing suicide or crashing.
It’s just that in most cases the enemies are too incompetent and unnecessary so they don’t have to do that.
