Well then that means the whole mechanics of the game need to be overhauled and probably changed we need less dispersion and more suppression mechanics in the game and a change in XP and focus more on teamwork instead of just killing.
I’d like to see useable rifle grenade sights, and a reload like the rmn50 that includes loading a round into the chamber in addition to loading the grenade. It should take a little more effort than it does now
Yup, I use the Rifleman 1 squad for when I just need extra troops on the point, and the other Rifleman squad in case there are mines or an excess in explosions.
Dispersion has absolutely no place in either the rifle grenade conversation nor the teamwork conversation.
I know that you seem to be frustrated with it, but at least stay with things that can be connected back to the topic.
More suppression mechanics would help for sure. As far as the change in xp, it depends on how it would be implemented. Score could be an incentivizing factor to get people to work as a team.
(An example of this would be like how they did AT back in Battlefield 4. The “recon” player could laser designate or keep a constant mark on enemy tanks. While the actual player with an AT launcher locked on and hit it. The recon player got extra points for assisting the AT player, and in return, the AT player did more damage to the target!)
Bring it back to the older version with more splash/damage and slower rate of fire AND making it unable to aim (No ADS, is what I mean).
More. In 2021, they did 16 damage, now they do 20.
Reload time for all grenade launchers is the same as in 2021, besides the first shot being already loaded and some grenade launchers activate 0.2s faster.
Although you are right, I can’t but chuckle at the thought of a riflemen squad sprinting their way through a mine field, their legs spinning like in cartoons while leaving a trail of explosions behind.
Curious.
What about splash range?
Then I guess what really changed is players’ mentality.
I actually think nade launchers are in a good place atm.
Was 10m in 2021, it’s also 10m now
Then maybe an increase in damage drop-off?
Because I also feel that multikills tend to happen only vs very closely grouped targets.
When explosions were changed from a simple sphere to a cone for fragments and a sphere for pressure, were rifle grenades also affected?
This would explain no change in stats but change in how they feel.
