About heavy mgs (changes that are a must in my opinion)

It is rediculous at this time to see everyone building heavy mgs and attackers simply got fucked harder. The key is the cost and gain for these weapons being tooooo different.
cost:almost nothing; gain: enemy tanks and infantry being crashed instanly.
Heavy mgs are becoming the new cancer of the game (though it would be such a pleasure for the one building it).
I think it is vital to make some changes to limit it: consume more materials, need more time to build, limited and unreplenishable ammo for example 300 rnds (or may be a bit more).

Makes sense, gives a reason to use MG nest as it’s easy accesable.

I think give mg nest to engi 2 was a bad idea from the start expecially wen AA was the deus ex machina of defender

You know attacker can build them in god spot and kill the defender as defender do the same with attacker?

Heavy MG isn’t bad, just that the regular MG is extremely overlooked now and pointless. Just buff the regular MG as many people have been saying before this update and it should be fine.

Technically speaking that’s the role of LMGs but yeah… bipods.

i know but it is attacker who needs to attack. Not the defenders. Consider the limited man power and often a team of idiots.
Also, even if not thinking about the attackers or defenders, the problem is: it is stupid to see among roughly 10 people 5 of them are playing hmgs.

Attacker need as defender need use brain, we have a lot of tool for counter

  • a tank is camping your infantry?=smoke
  • greyzone tank?=cas
  • break a position?=tank
  • HMG wo surpress your team?=smoke,tank,cas,artillery,sniper-rifle,bombing run,mortar…

If you zerg rush only aganaist good player prepare to lose hard

At this point I expect to die before good bipods get implemented. Devs simply don’t care.

They added tripod before fix bipod :+1:

They added stamina consumption while ADS before fixing bipods.

No wait, they Fed up bipods even more back then.

The process of setting up the HMG is more stream lined if engineers within regular engineer squads are able to do it. By making it so that only engineers in gunner squads can build them, it adds another level of complexity and coordination for your squads.
The player would need to plan for this and implement engineers into the gunner squad if they haven’t already. Maybe it doesn’t make sense idk, but I am generally afraid of the HMG’s being spammed
