Soldiers with pistols equipped should be able to use them when knocked down (bleeding). Pistols would be more usefull than now and gives you a chance to fight for your life, instead.
That way I wouldn’t have to just sit there near the enemy waiting for my destiny.
The pistol are so weak that dont change anything if you get downed, so wy not

They buffed another time melee, so i don’t think this happen

I my opinion that would lead in a bad and annoying game mechanic as it is breaking the flow of fighting. I remember good how it was many years ago in call of duty, imagine you come out a fight on top but he is like “nope, taste another few round from me”.
That makes fights absolute annoying and even sets ppl on lower levels even more back as they need to care with their early and not so powerful unlocks on this.
This honestly only benefits players that lag in skill and gives them another tool to mess others up.

Well it would take a time to equip the pistol. So if it had a bit of delay, everything could be fine.
