remove the firing indicator for the pilots, so they will be in the air much more time

Bomber formations shoot at enemy bomber formations, they also shoot at paratrooper planes. It looks glorious!

You are too late for this you could do that back in the day but it was abused so hard that they had to nerf AAs. They made them so they can’t put their guns down

Bro, planes don’t need bigger payloads. They already are kill farmers as is.

Infantry needs a viable counter. And suicide-bombing should put vehicles on several-minute cooldown as penalty.

depends, aircraft such as Ju-188 and P-47 are irrationally over stacked with weapons.
But most fighter aircraft have little to no weapons for ground support. Soviets keep flying the P-40E even on BR5 because it has far better pay load than other SU fighter aircraft.
Germans fly the Me bf110 G even on BR5 because FW-190 are bugged so they cant deliver accurate CAS.

(all) aircraft pay load doesnt need nerf but rationalization so there wont a BR5 aircraft like Me bf-109 K4 that no is using because it has no CAS weapons and also wont be overused like P-47 which is non stop in the air because it can squad wipe 2-3 squads in seconds.

There will always be meta planes. Even adding CAS loads to fighters won’t change that.

Infantry are already the bottom of the totem pole in terms of how they are treated by DF. They don’t need more oppressing them.

Agreed, the overarching issue with planes crashing intentionally affects AA just as much as it affects fighters. You need to be brutally efficient if you want to actually destroy a plane before it’s too late.

On a different note though, I honestly dislike that AA is able to camp the greyzone. What you described there is what 100% of AA players do, and it leaves no counterplay against AA except for trying your luck with a mortar.

And while AA has no counterplay in that way, it mustn’t become any stronger.

I think we all agree that greyzone camping has to be addressed in general. And once AA can only be placed in the play area I think having it able to fire at infantry could make sense from a balance standpoint - and most importantly it’d give AA a purpose while there are no planes around.

A few days ago I made a topic where I suggested modifying the HMG for the AA weapon task, this idea would essentially solve your first problem, as it could be used against infantry and also against aircraft, and could be positioned closer to the front line

I can tell you it’s difficult.
Because we are fully capable of jumping out of the aircraft after dropping bombs at high altitude (especially when dealing with infantry)
Or use machine guns to attract you to attack me and then use bombs and machine guns to fight back against you.

No one except idiots will be countered by this thing regularly.

I tried it few times. No, it’s not difficult.
You could train a monkey to do this.
