A redundancy question - don't shoot me though!

Now we have Super Pershing, I never see Jumbo 76s , M18 Hellcats on high tier, essentially unless you specifically chose these vehicles for one reason or another, you now have obsolete vehicles?

I realise people want to use the newest and shiniest, but it’s like the M10, Su85s they are now never going to get picked as there are far better options.

I hope people understand my point, what I have done to ensure variety on low tier is have 3 BR2 presets to use different stuff.

But on high tier, either reduce BRs to reduce redundancy or just play with vehicles at a disadvantage (applies to planes too)

I do welcome new content, just want to ensure that older stuff gets a chance to show up too!

The TDs on Soviets are redundant, as there are far better options, also applies to the US and the SPershing… It goes on.

Because all these vehicles are binded to only one squad. So you can’t use more than one of them in the same llineup.

Which strikes me as ultra bizarre. You can have Rocket Pershing and Super Pershing in one lineup, but Hellcat and Super Pershing would be a problem.

All TT tank squads should be allowed to use any TT tank, you’d immediately see more variation on the battlefield.

I will say this is just a rich people problem. Most of the players don’t even have enough slot compete, let alone ensuring variety.

just because something is theoretically strongest doesn’t mean people will stick only to this thing. I don’t know how true my point is in case of vehicles because I’m using mostly infantry but based on my weapon preference I stick to weapons that overall have good feeling for me, I don’t look for pure stats but more how sights are how recoil feels etc. Also it’s obvious people will play new things the most, they will try them and then eventually switch if something doesn’t satisfy them. imo all weapon data might as well be hidden to ensure people would pick stuff based on how fun it is playing with it, because then you end up with people playing with stuff they don’t find fun.

One problem is most of the map/play area are too small. Hellcat or tank destroyers gonna be fun to use if there’s more area for it to run around and do some flanking tactic.

Well, even with BRs some equipment is simply worse than others.
You don’t see people use the Panzer IV H because Panthers are that much better, even Panther A is heavily over shadowed by G.
People only remember that Jagdpanzer IVs exist until they research it and move on to Tigers.
M4A2 sherman is better than Sherman II.
T28 vs T28E… You get me.

You can’t really buff tanks and changing BR would be overkill in most cases.

Just don’t give a f about effectiveness and take a panzer II in BR2 over the III J. This is a game have fun.

Oddly enough, I tend to see a lot of Sherman II because of the GO from Tunisia.

Also the 105 Sherman is largely present at BR3.

But yeah M10, Pz IV H, Chi-To, SU (of any variant) are really rare at top BR… even rarer than Pz II, M13 and T-60

Yep agreed. If any Assault Squad can bring STG 44 and its not locked to a specific Assault Squad then why not apply the same logic to tanks and planes.

The BR ratings of weapons don’t mean a lot unless you have something like a 0/0 BR rating because even a level 5 rated weapon if dropped to level 4 is still going to be up against level 5 the vast majority of the time. If DF would see the light and make level 5 a level by itself, then dropping level ratings of weapons would make sense. Don’t hold your breath that this will happen because we’re talking about DF, people who think punking level 3 Japanese and Allies into level 5 is a good thing, regardless of how much people bitch about it.

The reality is quite the opposite. You don’t have to be rich to buy a premium account for a year during sales (for just 20 bucks). And thus getting two squad slots for every faction.

On other hand, so called “rich people” can simply buy stuff like Firefly and Rocket Pershing. Or many other premium tanks with seperate squads.

I can honestly say that I have spent well north of a grand in US dollars in the past 2 1/2 plus years of playing Enlisted. I am certainly not rich, I live on my social security since I am retired, and one reason I moved to the Philippines from the US because it’s not enough to retire on there. Plus, the women here are beautiful and love older American men :yum:. That aside, all the premium squads I have bought over the years were ones I thought would make my play more enjoyable for how I like to play. I hate bolt action, so I have bought damn near every assaulter squad they made so now I can play level one or two and never hardly have to use a bolt action. I have also passed on a lot of squads because I didn’t really need them for how I play. I do pay for premium so I can open up more slots, but that is really not any worse then having to pay people like EA sports to play their games online or pay Playstation for their annual fees. I don’t have a Playstation, but I still pay the annual fee of my youngest son’s PS account. But the premium amount per month is probably not more then if you had a basic hobby.

lol the opposite?

Rich.

Richer.
