Wanna get that Tiger, but playing 2 hours each day on maps I dont like and with factions I dont even really play all that much with… yeah its not worth it to me at all.
still playing it but the teamwork is quickly disappearing. At the start everyone was spewing in APC and placing rally points now it’s just a few rally points and if you get a teammate with a APC they just stack it all in the same spot lol. maybe they should have done half the days in Pacific map and the other half in a USSR map since its a made up fight
I suffered through the first two days only because I wanted the Jap Thompson, which now gives me four. I don’t like the Fedorov, don’t really need the fifth Thompson and I don’t play tanks…So I quit after day two, and don’t feel any loss for it. I’m also not going to try for the Vanilla MP40 as their is nothing special about it other then the color, so, why waste my time on an SMG I probably won’t use anyway, and if I were I can just get them from the TT.
Now, if the white MP40 came as a buffed MP40, say with a higher rate of fire, that would make it special and worth playing for, but the Dev’s are really missing the mark with the player base.
Not the first, second, or last time it will happen (sadly).
Honestly, it should have some distinguishing feature. Even just a small buff of 630 rpm and 7.0 damage would make it something interesting. Not just a literal reskin that could just cost silver.
Everyone’s acting like cool skin for minor event is something bad or that it is totally new concept.
Literally reskinned TT weapons as event reward appeared even before the merge. And literally not a single one complained.
The only reason few specific PPS 42s red have slightly higher dmg is because they’re from old Stalingrad campaign where weapons overall had different stats and gimmicks compared to other campaigns.
If you are not interested in the reward, just ignore the event.
There’s definitely nothing wrong with this event or its rewards.
Addendum: Forcing you to use very bad soldiers and weapons. And they alternate between semi-automatic and fully automatic rifles, allowing you to always use different weapons when switching to the next soldier.
Without a doubt, this is the most foolish activity.
