Well Italy already have BR I tank and I suggest we turn 75/32 M41 to BR II tank that will replace its ammo with EPS M42 HEAT that is good against infantry and vehicles and will make this tank very good BR II Italian tank. The other option is to just give it Granata mod.32 HE shells if the HEAT is too strong.
Since the changes that you can change the nationality of the soldiers giving BR II Italian tank will make Italy as BR II more interesting option. However will be nice that the devs give more freedom to uniforms change when you change the nationality of the soldier also to change its uniform options to the correct nationality.
No MG, 30mm armour, slower reload than StuG A and Panzer IV F1 and it wouldnt even be faster than the German vehicles so it would be worse than Panzer IV E, the only upside of the vehicle would be the strong HEAT shell which can pen 100mm of armour.
IMO we could just add the 75/32 M42 with HEAT shells to BR2 instead which is at least slightly faster.
Though in my opinion, the best BR2 tank for Italy would be the Celere Sahariano (analogue of the Crusader)
Yeah i want this one but I’m very pessimistic that I will see new Italian tanks or planes since they don’t wanna give us bombs on the current planes or give us versions with bombs and now I have very good Italian BR II build all I need is BR II Italian tank. Its strange to me that all the Italian tanks are BR I. 75/32 M41 with HEAT can deal with this nasty KVs and Shermans and be useful against infantry
the tank is great at br 1 and the only proper TD destroyer there thats fun to play, on br2 it would be another random tank. we need stugs downraked to br2 instead.
Well not exactly it will be able to frontally pent the Sherman and the KV that non of the current tanks can do reliably it will have a bit more pen then the Ho-I that Japan has:
the br2 stug is short barreled and needs to be downranked to br1
the issue here is, gaijin applies the logic of upranking the italian stallion, it will by the same logic not downrank the stugs and they stay forever unused in br3 collecting dust.
i played br1 a few times over the last month and the itallian stallion was not only very fun but also surprisingly good against infantry, as the 75mm rounds have enough filler, even without being pure HE shells. tanks ofc got all evaporated instantly. that tank is perfectly played in br1 with all of its properties.
thats what I mean, I didnt get the legacy Italian squads, so I am forced to use a german squad for it. Which is quite annoying since we do have italian squads in game.
Ohh you mean the long barrel Stug the problem there is its too good for BR II and too bad for BR III so yeah they can experiment moving it a bit see how it goes. Its like the Japanese D4Y1 that is stuck in the middle between BR II and BR III .
Enough for you not for me maybe they can add the other version 75/34 M42 like Valkay suggested for BR II with HEAT I dont mind as long as I have BR II italian tank
yeah im also stuck like that but you can make the German Guerilla squad in to Italian squad with acceptable customizations for Tunisia that’s what I did
What something like this? There is nothing even close to an Italian tanker uniform in here? At least I do get Italian voicelines now which is something.

Same squad as both of these which is just a pain in the ass if you want to do different pre-sets, especially since you either have to pay absurd amounts to keep swapping voices, or just suffer with the wrong voice in one of these vehicles.
Yeah I really wish they make when you change character nationality his uniform options to change to its nationality. The only German squad that I can make look like Italian was this one:
Those M41 assault guns had also later variants with BR4 worth guns, they could easily add a late war version instead of changing the current BR1 vehicle.
That being said - there was a time period in the war where German tanks were severely outclassed by Soviet and British tanks. Matilda, KV1 and T34 were a disaster for the German army. Germany had to rely on combined arms at taking those vehicles out - while Italy actually had famously given those Semovente TDs HEATs that took out Matildas. So I am not kidding, there was a time period where the Italian armored forces where better equipped than the German Panzers.
So I appreciate the logic behind this post, but if anything the current M41 could get like 5 of those HEATs mixed with HE and AP shells and stay at BR1. Its a self propelled gun in the end, and BR1 vehicles being able to deal with even BR3 vehicles isn’t any issue anymore.
Well I just want a Italian tank with good gun and better ammo options will they add different version of this tanks with different ammo types or give its better ammo and keep it at BR I is good for me.
I mean considering all those variants are in WT already, it must be fairly simple to port them here. I still hope for an update where we see the return of the British and Italian legacy squads plus new equipment to supplement them. That way they wouldnt have to worry as much about adding a new system to change uniform nationality too since we were told that was nearly impossible to do.
It’s current ammo is already pretty decent against infantry, especially for BR1. There’s no need to change this vehicle in any way. Especially since they can add some other Italian vehicles instead.
