The Type 92 machine gun was a license-built version of the British Lewis and was widely used as a flexible weapon on Navy aircraft. It had a gas operated rotating bolt head locked action and was fed from drum magazines holding either 47 or 97 rounds.
The 4th Cavalry Brigade (騎兵第4旅団, Kihei Daishi Ryodan) of the Imperial Japanese Army was originally formed April 1, 1909.[1]
It was assigned to Kwantung Army in April 1933 as part of the IJA Cavalry Group. It was then assigned to the Cavalry Group to Northern China Area Army, June 1938. On September 5, 1939, 4th Cavalry Brigade was put directly under North China Area Army. Again with the Group, it was assigned to Mongolia Garrison Army in February 1939. Assigned to Twelfth Army in December 1942.[1]
A great weapon with the level one/zero rider or horse class this gun would be a lot of fun for japan. who has many bag machine guns with the hopper design. which while fun to use, partial reloads are a unique feature to these gun which is fun. but a higher capacity machine gun would not feel out of place in the japan tech tree.
