Since the Allies options for BR 3 and 4 SMGs are only .45 ACP Thompson variants, I figured that some SMG/AR weapons for tiers 2-4 could be added. In general, these would sacrifice the sheer close-range damage output of the Thompsons for higher muzzle velocity and damage at distance.
BR 2: T29 SMG
Damage at 10m: 7.3 (8.8)
Rate of Fire: 410 (470)
Magazine capacity: 30
Essentially an M3 Grease gun chambered in .30 Carbine. Not much to explain here.
BR 3: Woodhull Light Rifle
Damage at 10m: 7.3 (8.8)
Rate of Fire: 550 (630)
Magazine capacity: 20
One of the competing designs of the light rifle program, which resulted in the adoption of the M1 Carbine. In the first iteration of testing in May/June 1941, select-fire capabilities were desirable, but this was dropped by the 2nd iteration of light rifle tests in September 1941.
The Woodhull Light Rifle weighed 5 lbs. 13 1/2 ozs, had a cyclic rate of 550 rounds per minute, and was designed with 5, 10, 15, 20, and 35 round magazines.
BR 4: Auto-Ordnance Light Rifle
Damage at 10m: 7.3 (8.8)
Rate of Fire: 600 (690)
Magazine capacity: 20

BR 4 Alternative: Garand Light Rifle
Damage at 10m: 7.3 (8.8)
Rate of Fire: 700 (810)
Magazine capacity: 20

The Garand Light Rifle weighed just below 5 lbs, had a cyclic rate of 700-900 rounds per minute, and was designed with 5, 10, 20, and 50 round magazines.
Stats such as recoil and dispersion and SMG/AR designation are of course open to the interpretation of the developers, to make these guns balanced for their respective tiers. I’m looking forward to the community’s thoughts and feedback!
