Can we earn xp on a custom mod match?

I have played 1 so far and I did leave mid match to join a friend and didn’t noticed if I got something or not.

currently it is not possible

( unless you find bugs which allows you to earn something as happened with my first mod match :joy: but… it was 6k reducted of the 0.2x. so a normal custom match without players basically. )

Do you know ARMA? The game “Dayz” “Squad” and “PUBG” are mods that originated from ARMA.

After your tests I think the Server Performance Cap is 150 vs 150 in solo mod.
At least in 100 vs 100 solo mod everything works fine.
Anyway, Gaijin should allowed us create a 50 vs 50 solo mod at least. Right?

ain’t gonna happen unfortunately.

it has been since the alpha that we wanted to increase the battles and areas.

now, thanfully to the editor, we can make it happen. ( although no official xps )

but devs refused back then, and still refuses to make things bigger.

main reasons are, they are not sure with stability performance with the low end spec of computers ( since it’s a free to play and they claim that you can run this game on low ends. would do them no good if it wouldn’t be able to. )

and they want to keep the action pacted in a small area.

they are not a huge fun of " dead ends " so to speak…

now, we can only hope some of us make good mods ( good enough for devs ) to actually introduce them and add experience with no reduction.

even there, there are more quetions marks than check lists.

but, we can hope.

( i missreaded… my bad… giro. but still. point stands for those who are curios on why 50v50 are not in the game by " default " )

The match was pretty smooth for the majority of the time but at the start of the last objective, it started to have some really big performance issues, i think it’s because there was too many players in one single area at the same time and it doesn’t help that there was no limit in aircraft spawns…+ Stalingrad bombers…+ A shit ton of destroyed tanks everywhere… I’m most impressed this only started to happen after the 40minute mark

there is a reason why there are rare shooters that have 50v50 or more battles.

  1. cpu (fps problems)-i have played planetside 2 before and in very large conflicts (50+v50+ or even 50+v50+v50+) game starts to lag on low end cpu-s (it can lag even on high end when enough players are present). this might be cause it is not multi core optimized (it depends mostly on single core performance). idk what engine enlisted uses and how is it optimized for multi core perfomance, but a lot of engines are heavily depended on single core performance.
  2. netcode- i have played mount&blade:NW with 100v100 battles. here problem started with bad netcode i guess. IIRC it was perfectly playable on 100 till some 150 players, but on 150+ players it started lagging heavily, hitboxes werent registering normally and you could be teleported. considering you could host dedicated servers, it wasnt problem with internet connection or servers, just bad implementation of netcode.

so large scale battles are heavily depended on those 2 points and how are they handled in engine. having large scaled battles is already hard with solo players without bots, but if you add them it could be disaster.

btw i already have lags at start of almost every game, so i am not perfectly optimistic about their netcode.

You should start server with 20 bots and then change settings.
Here bug that it block even official settings (50 bots).

Squads should have limit for players 20v20 (40).
Lone Fighters more then 25v25.
Yesterday I lauch game with 50v50. (Lone Fighters).
It were stable.
About bots… Their limit can be more for squads and much more for lone fighters.
Idk. Around 25v25 (50) in squads and 100vs100 (200) in Lone fighters?
Squads have 3-4 bots in 1 squad.

Squads 25v25 starts microlag (not big hit desync and jittery bots) after 3-4 hours nonstop battle.
Maybe problem weren’t because of players count/bots.
Battle were sooo long.

Not special. It just bugged when i tried switch game mode from squads to Lone Fighters.

It’s related with the map.
There are a room is in playing, You can see it login game now. It only has 70 player but network is start lagging.
I think it because the map is too large.

You can set the brightness of the sun to make the map brighter or darker(search weather entities)

I have played you room yesterday, it has 100 players but everything is fine.
I think your map is suitable for 100 player.

But anyway Gaijin should open up the choice to mod developers and players!

We need the option to enable the 100 players room!
